LENT SERMON SERIES
"Wild Kingdom"
From the tiniest insects to the biggest whale on the planet, God created each animal uniquely with a specific purpose. And yet, if even one is removed from the ecosystem, it collapses. In these creations of God, we can understand his character more fully and, in return, understand ourselves better.
Join us from February 26 - April 2 for our Wild Kingdom sermon series as we take a closer look at various animals of the Bible and their characteristics and reflect on our lives and how we fit into God's big picture.
FILL THE ARK
Lenten Mission Project
This year for our Lenten Mission Project we are partnering with Heifer International to FILL THE ARK. We are spending the next 6 weeks talking about different animals mentioned in the bible and much like God instructed Noah to build an Ark to keep his family and the animal kept safe from the floods, Heifer's Ark will help keep communities safe from the depths of poverty.
For more than 75 years, Heifer International has provided livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to improve the lives of those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income. Your gift symbolizes a rainbow of hope around the world. By helping FILL THE ARK, you're helping families lift themselves out of poverty while answering God's call to help others.
HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF $5,000. We are currently at 22% of that goal and our youth and kids’ program have challenged their students to give and our student ministry has already reached their goal. Something about applesauce being dumped on a person head, may or may not have been involved, but we are so blessed to have both groups participating in this years project.
We encourage each of you to participate as well! However big or small, your donation will help provide the following:
- Two Water Buffalo
- Two Cows
- Two Sheep
- Two Goats
- Bees, Chicks, & more!
Your gift will provide livestock and environmentally sound agricultural training to improve the lives of those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income.

About Worship
Let's Gather Together in Praise!
Traditional Worship
Traditional worship at Trinity keeps us in touch with the deepest roots of the Christian faith. We appreciate the traditional elements of worship and have pews, pulpits, choir lofts, robes for pastors and choirs, daylight streaming through the stained glass, the deep resonant sound of a pipe organ, and the classical piano. Voices led by the Chancel Choir lift high the praises of God. It has everything you'd expect in traditional worship.
Every Sunday is a structured combination of the use of traditional prayers and liturgy. It allows you to put yourself in a place where we can hear God's voice through song, traditional prayer, scripture reading, and sermon.
Contemporary Worship
Entering the Memorial Fellowship Hall you are greeted by the sound of musicians with guitars, a keyboard, and a drum set perform a microphone sound check. When the electronic countdown board reaches zero, the worship band launches into a set heartfelt song praising God. Each song meant to help you focus on your personal devotional experience and praise before the message.
Contemporary worship provides a mix of contemporary and traditional elements. If you love church traditions and a bit more pep in your music, contemporary is the perfect place for you.
