Give to the work of Trinity United Methodist

Acts 20:35 says "It is more blessed to give than to receive." None of the work we do at our church would be possible without God moving the hearts of our people to give their time, talents, and treasures. Your generosity helps create a church where people feel welcomed, lead, and loved—a place where life-changing stories are being written every week. On behalf of those stories, thank you for giving from your heart!

We give in order to be blessed, not for fear of anything negative in our lives. We give out of gratitude and love! You can give your gift safely and securely online - this is one of the easiest ways to give to our church. Thank you.

Other Ways to Give

time & talents

Giving goes beyond money. God calls us to give also our time and talents to share the Good News of Jesus and serving others.

We encourage you to give through you time and talents by volunteering to serve during a worship service or through one of our ministries. Contact the church office by phone 850.862.4169 or e-mail trinity@trinityfwb.org for more information.

Your giving at work

Locally

Trinity believes in creating opportunities to serve and bless our local Ft. Walton Beach community. 50% of your financial contributions stay in the area, enabling us to do the work that God has called us to in our local community.

We have specific ministries we support, as well as our own initiatives that we spend your generous donations on.

Why Give?

As people of God we give because God has given so much to us. God doesn't need our money, but he does want what it represents: our purposes, passions, and priorities.

We give to make a Kingdom impact locally in Fort Walton Beach, across the country, as well as globally through mission efforts.

We give to increase the Kingdom through our generosity so that others may know Jesus better!

However giving isn't just about money, it is also the giving of your time and talents to glorify God.

Globally

When Jesus commissioned his disciples before His ascension, He said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

At Trinity, we take this command of making disciples in all nations very seriously, which leads us to giving 50% of your tithe and offerings to work God is doing globally.

IMPACT MOMENTS

Because of your generous giving of your time, talents, and treasures, We are so blessed to have a long-standing, active, and thriving Nurture Team. The Nurture Team is a group of dedicated church members whose mission is to be a source of God's healing, help, and hope to our church and community service. Our Nurture team is composed of 2 parts. The first part is the Card Ministry works on praying and sending cards of encouragement or condolences to church members or constituents. The second part is the Visitation and Communion Servers, which work on praying and visiting hospitalized and homebound patients. Due to COVID, the Visitation and Communion Servers have been placed on a brief hold. This year the Nurture Team is led by Marie Irwin. She works in collaboration with the Prayer Warriors and helps put prayer into action.

This ministry strives to ensure the everyone who attends Trinity is cared for in a variety of ways. We invite you to join us to continue to make a lasting impact in our church and community by giving your time, talents, or treasures. If you are interested in joining the Nurture Team, please contact the Church office at (850) 862-4169 or email communications@trinityfwb.org. We recommend that all participants in this ministry have computer and internet access.
