Trinity United Methodist Church

The people of The United Methodist Church are putting our faith in action by making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach, FL offers the healing, help, and hope in Jesus Christ through genuine, heartfelt worship and learning experiences.


We began in 1960 when a group of local area Methodist families came together and started Trinity Church. The church initially met at W.C. Pryor Middle School until 1963, when a Sanctuary was established. We've been blessed to add an education wing that serves as our preschool and a Memorial Fellowship Hall for our contemporary worship, bible studies, Sunday school classes, and life groups to meet.


United Methodists trace our heritage back to a pair of brothers who started the Methodist movement in 1700s England. John and Charles Wesley helped lead a movement to "spread Scriptural holiness over the land."

Trinity provides spirit-filled ministries and worship opportunities to help people to become followers of Jesus Christ so they can love unconditionally, offering healing, help, and hope in our city, our nation, and our world.

The Gospel is ultimately about humanity being restored to God’s community. Only through practicing community will individuals grow fully in the grace and knowledge to be found in Jesus. Through fellowship, a fragmented world can best witness the power of the Gospel and the nature of God’s work.
