We strive to connect kids to God by guiding them to a life rooted in Christ. We partner with parents to foster faith in kids from birth to 5th grade through engaging bible stories, games, worship, and more!
CONNECTING KIDS TO GOD
WHAT WE DO FOR KIDS
sUNDAY MORNINGS
We want Sunday to be your child’s favorite day of the week! Kids will connect to one another and Christ in new ways each week. From acting out bible stories to fun games, your kids will learn how fun life is with Christ.
TUESDAYS
Every Tuesday through the school year, kids from kindergarten to 5th grade are invited to join us from 3:30 pm-5:15 pm for an afternoon of fun. We start with a quick snack and some homework time before jumping into activities. Through service projects, games, worship, and more! Trinity Kids will learn that a life rooted in Christ is more fun!
Last day for Trinity Tuesdays for the 2022-2023 school year is May 16.
NURSERY
Nursery is available for kids ages four and under, Sunday Mornings beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Dean Fellowship Hall.
2023 Vacation Bible School
VBS is back and this year we are launching kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. STELLAR rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun!
Join us June 18, 22 from 5:00 p.m. - 7 :30 p.m. , right here at Trinity UMC for an astronomical adventure.
*We will be in need of volunteers! Volunteer registration opens on May 1 at 8:30 a.m.
Trinity Kids has a new logo!
This new theme and logo have been prayerfully thought over. The purpose of a kids' ministry is to work with parents in guiding their children to Christ. When the seeds of faith are planted as kids, then our kids can continue to grow in faith through kids' ministry, student ministry, and into adulthood. As they grow and continue their faith journey, they will become more rooted in Christ!
TRINITY KIDS FAQs
yOUR FIRST VISIT
Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Let one of our Greeters know and they'll escort you to our Kids Hall. We will meet your family, and get your child check-in. We can’t wait to meet you!
Safety
Safety is our number one priority! We have started a check-in station to provide extra safety for our kids. Parents will check their kids into church through an iPad and receive a nametag with an individualized code. This code will match the child to their parent to ensure safety during services and pick-up times.
Our volunteers are also trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check. Don't worry parents - we've got this!
Service
We have begun using a new curriculum from Grow! This curriculum provides engaging and age-appropriate ways to connect our kids to God. Each month we will adventure into a new theme.
Meet Mrs. Laura
My name is Laura Finley, your new Kids Ministry Coordinator. It is an honor to be on staff at the church I was fortunate enough to grow up in. Trinity's kid ministry was a large part of my life growing up, and I hope to have the same large impact on our kids here today. 2023 holds many exciting things for Trinity Kids and I would love for you to be a part of the fun!
Laura Finley was born and raised in the Fort Walton Beach area. In 2020 Laura met her now husband, Dakota Finley. Together they have adopted their son Mason. Laura is a firm believer in family ministry and growing in Christ together. She can be found adventuring with her family or visiting Mickey Mouse at Walt Disney World in her free time!
