Advent: A Season to Prepare

Advent is a season of waiting, watching, and preparing for the coming of Christ. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and align our hearts with the hope, peace, joy, and love that Jesus brings. This Advent, we journey through scripture together, exploring not only the familiar story of Christ’s birth but also the deeper, sometimes challenging realities of what His coming means for us today. Each week, we will prepare our hearts for the true gift of Christmas and embrace the life-transforming presence of Jesus.

A Night of Hope

For many, the Christmas season is a time of joy, but for those experiencing grief, loneliness, or distress, the holidays can feel overwhelming. Join us for a Night of Hope, our "Blue Christmas" service, which offers a sacred, quiet space to acknowledge your pain, find solace, and experience God’s comforting presence. Whether you are mourning a loss, struggling with loneliness, or simply walking in the shadow of difficulty, you are not alone.

When: Wednesday, December 17 Time: 6:00 p.m.

Location: Sanctuary @ Trinity UMC Come just as you are.

This service provides a gentle liturgy of scripture, music, and candle lighting that recognizes both the sorrow we carry and the enduring hope of Emmanuel, God with us.
